Who are we?
Legal Forces is run by Dieter Honoré, Ilse Tack, Isabelle Suy, Evi Torfs, Stephanie De Kesel, Céline Chomé and Eylem Simsek.

Dieter Honoré (°1975) completed his studies in Leuven in 1998 with a master’s in law. During the course of his studies, he also obtained a bachelor’s degree in philosophy.
From 1998 to mid-2004 he was a lawyer with Loeff, Claeys, Verbeke, later Allen & Overy, where he specialized in corporate law (mergers and acquisitions, consulting and corporate litigation).
Halfway through 2004, he took on a new challenge: Legal Forces. |

Ilse Tack (°1969) completed her studies in 1992 with a master’s in law from the University of Leuven. She began her internship at the Brussels bar in October 1992 and worked successively at the law firms of Van Landuyt & Partners (October 1992 – March 1993), Burlion, Bolle, Houben (March 1993 – June 1997) and Peeters Advocaten-Avocats (July 1997 – August 2002). As a lawyer, she specialized in labor law and social security law.
From August 2002 to November 2004, Ilse worked as an employment consultant in the Human Capital department of Ernst & Young, where she remained active in corporate labor law consulting.
Ilse started with Legal Forces on January 3rd, 2005. |

Isabelle Suy (°1973) completed her studies in Leuven in 1997 with a master’s in law. Her internship was completed at the law firm of Schoups-Van Bosstraeten-Schoups. She then worked as a lawyer, first at the office of Lafili, Van Crombrugghe & Partners, later with Roggeman en Vennoten. As a lawyer, she specialized in construction law, contract law and commercial law. She also lectured in law at the Karel De Grote Hogeschool in Antwerp.
Isabelle Suy joined Legal Forces in December 2005. |

Evi Torfs (°1976) completed her studies in Leuven in 2000 with a master’s in law. She then worked for a year as a full-time academic assistant at the Catholic University of Leuven in the Family Law and Matrimonial Property Law Departments. In 2001, she became a lawyer at the Antwerp bar, where she subsequently worked for the law firms of Lange, Verstraete & Clijmans (October 2001 – September 2006) and Hopland & De Lei (October 2006 – August 2007). As a lawyer, she mainly specialized in family law and matrimonial property law. Until October 2004, she continued to work part-time as a lecturer at the Catholic University of Leuven in the Matrimonial Property Law Department.
Evi joined Legal Forces in September 2007. |

Stephanie De Kesel (°1979) graduated from the Karel de Grote Hogeschool in 2001 as a bachelor of laws. In 2004 she completed her studies in Brussels with a master’s in criminology. After a few months of working as an administrative assistant at a law firm, she started to work as a legal advisor at ACLVB, where she mainly focused on labor law and social security law matters.
She joined Legal Forces in September 2007. |

Céline Chomé (°1976) is a ULB law school graduate (2000) who went on to specialise in social law at the VUB (2001). Starting her trainee placement with the Brussels Bar, she subsequently teamed up with the Heymans & Partners law firm (2001), before joining the Legal Department of Securex payroll service provider as a Legal Advisor.
Feeling drawn to a role in sales, she initially went on to work as a Sales Representative before advancing to assume the role of Sales Manager with the same family-run business in 2005.
In November 2009, she joined the Legal Forces team as a Business Development Consultant, a position which puts her legal background and experience and her commercial skills to excellent use. In tandem with Business Development Manager Ilse Tack, she is set to actively drive forward Legal Interim Management, a business currently enjoying fast-paced expansion. |

Eylem Simsek (°1976) completed her studies in Brussels in 2002 at the “Vrije Universiteit Brussel” with a Master in law and obtained a Master after master in “European integration and development” in 2003.
Her interest in European law grew during her assignment at the Permanent Representation of Turkey to the European Union. She assisted the diplomatic delegation during the proceedings of the European Convention for the establishment of a European constitution.
In 2004, Eylem started to work as a case-handler for the Belgian Competition Authority, where she handled mergers and cartel cases. Next to the application of Belgian and European competition law, she was involved in the representation of the competition authority on European and international level.
In 2009 Eylem obtained a "Post Graduate Diploma in European Union law" at King's College London.
Eylem joined Legal Forces in December 2010. Together with Evi and Isabelle, Eylem will be responsible for the recruitment and selection of lawyers and legal counsels. |
